Refiloe Nkwali, Afrika Tshona (Campus Manager: Caledon Campus) and Lenachea Appel.

Two Boland College students at the Caledon campus recently represented the Western Cape at the national competition of CoSACSA (College Sports, Arts and Culture South Africa) Championships in Pretoria.

Refiloe Nkwali and Lenachae Appel made the college proud by winning two medals each. Refiloe won a bronze medal for the 800 m and a gold medal for the relay event and Lenachae won silver for the 200 m and a gold medal for the relay event.

The college is extremely proud of these two shining stars who do not have the same facilities many of the other competitors have, yet left no stone unturned to achieve these results.

Campus manager Africa Tshona said: “Caledon campus continues to make a mark in the national landscape. The management would like to thank Jennilee Visagie, Student Support Officer, and the team manager Gaynor King for their consistent efforts in bringing out the best in the Caledon sport teams.”
