Napier Craft Club ladies have been busy as bees as the festive season draws nearer . . .
The very busy active club members have been happily crafting for more than a decade. Their regular meeting place is the Grobbelaar Hall foyer on the corner of Kuys and Grobbelaar streets, right next door to the Napier Retirement Village.
They meet here on Tuesday mornings to craft, exchange ideas and, of course, chat. Only the severe lockdown that was in place for the best part of 2020 could deter the members from getting together.
On Tuesday 29 November, the Napier Craft Club’s theme was Christmas decorations, and that was why we popped in to check and see what they were creating this time around. We found some very special items such as a patchwork Christmas tree and some Christmas tree angels in the making, all made out of multi-coloured scraps of material. It goes to show what can be produced when creative minds with special needlework skills get together and share ideas.
