Chef Shane Sauvage, owner of La Pentola, and his staff pulled out all the stops for a fabulous celebration to mark the popular restaurant’s 11th birthday. Its spectacular panoramic view of Walker Bay was the perfect backdrop for the dazzling display of mouth watering dishes, festive cocktails, lively music and lekkerdancing. Special guests, friends, family and patrons were treated to platters of food that looked as beautiful as it was delicious, music by the popular reggae band The Rivertones and a short performance by internationally known comedian Barry Hilton. One thing is for sure, Sauvage has perfected the recipe for a great party that will be remembered fondly by all who were lucky enough to attend it. Cheers to many more years!Photos: Bianca Du Plessis
