Returning for its 12th year, from 29 March to 1 April at Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat in the Overberg region, Greenpop’s Reforest Fest offers a diverse experience that connects people with nature, art, music and community.

It is time for Greenpop’s reforestation festival, Reforest Fest, at Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat in Gansbaai.

The 12th one, to take place from 29 March to 1 April, offers a diverse experience that connects people with nature, art, music and community.

Participants come together to plant thousands of trees and engage in workshops, classes, and live music performances.

This year’s event aims to plant 5 000 trees at Platbos Forest over the Easter weekend and offers a wide range of activities suitable for all ages.

Those attending are encouraged to explore interactive art installations and wellness activities, immerse themselves in a selection of informative workshops, savour locally-sourced food and delight in the beauty of the natural surroundings at the Bodhi Khaya Nature Retreat.

“Some of the highlights include the planting of 5 000 trees, entertainment for all, a dedicated supervised kiddies area with a host of activities, the art of Jeremy Loops, co-founder of Greenpop’s on display and the Veld and Sea foraged tapas feast,” according to one of the organisers.
