Start this year with new energy and enter the different races in the Overberg.. The Cape Cross Triathlon will be held from 24 February to Saturday 26 February at Grabouw. Registration takes place on Friday 22 February from 07:00 at Paul Cluver with the race start at 09:00.

This epic adventure begins at the Paul Cluver Dam and finishes at Grabouw Country Club three days later.

The exhilarating route will have you duel it out at beautiful swimming locations and some of the best trails and single track in the country through the beautiful Elgin Valley and Hottentots-Holland Mountains.

The race is fully supported, with kit and bike transfers from the transition to finish.

The Race Village is at the beautiful Grabouw Country Club. Tented accommodation and delicious meals are all included in the entry fee. There will also be supporters packages available for those wanting to bring the family along for the weekend. Details for the supporter’s packages will be announced early next year and will include the option to bring your own tent.

The Overberg’s most challenging one-day mountain bike race with various distance options to choose from. The race is affiliated with Overberg Cycling Association. For more information visit www.stanfordmtbclassic.co.za. Cape Crusade is an epic Three-day Mountain Trail Run through the beautifully rugged Hottentots Holland Mountain Range. The route is point to point, starting at Oak Valley in Grabouw and finishing in Knorhoek Somerset West three days later. The route is single track heaven and incorporates some of the best trails in the country, if not the world!

The race is fully supported and the entry fee includes single tented accommodation in the race village in the most magical setting. As well as five Star Meals and lots of other goodies.

Participants will be picked up in Knorhoek Somerset West on the morning of Saturday 30 April and transported to the start at Oak Valley Grabouw. Safe parking will be provided at The Manor House Knorhoek for the whole weekend.

The three days’ routes are an epic mix of amazing single track and technical mountain trails, that are equally challenging as well as rewarding. Full route maps and profiles will be posted soon!

The race is run in the popular two person team format with Open Men, Open Women, Vets Men, Vets Woman and Open Mixed categories.
