Mayor Annelie Rabie will continue her First Thursdays initiative in Kleinmond on 7 April from 17:00 to 19:00.
This will be the first time the event will be held here and the venue is the Kleinmond Community Hall.
She will be accompanied by her mayoral committee members as well as the Municipal Manager, Dean O’Neill, and all the directors. No appointments are required, and the public will be seen on a first come, first served basis. It is thus important to arrive early.
The purpose of First Thursdays is to find out, first hand, how the municipality can improve services and grow the local economy as well as other pressing issues residents are encountering. It is a golden opportunity for residents to engage with both the political and administrative leadership of the municipality.
It’s also an opportunity for the Mayor to speak on recent fires and request non-perishable foods, clothing, towels and blankets.
