The Western Cape Department of Health and Rotary Club of Hermanus will host a Rural Health Day in Baardskeerdersbos on Friday 21 October in the Dutch Reformed church hall. Ward 11 Councillor Steven Fourie encourages residents to take advantage of the free health services that will be available from 10:00 to 14:00. These include eye testing, oral hygiene, women’s health, men’s health, child health, mental health and Covid-19 vaccines. A dentist, dietician, physiotherapist and substance abuse team will be available and a team from Home Affairs.
