More than a management group that maintains and secures the Cliff Path, the Cliff Path Management Group (CPMG), formed in January 2002, drives such initiatives as enhancing the environment by ensuring residents and visitors are on the same page in experiencing the natural beauty of this coastal path.
The CPMG wants to improve the Hermanus Cliff Path experience by resurfacing certain sections. “Join us for a ±8,8 km Hermanus Cliff Path Fun(d) Walk from Ficks restaurant to Dutchies restaurant on Monday 16 December,” one of the organisers said. “Registration starts at 07:30 at Ficks and walking starts at 08:00.
“Remember to arrive early and enjoy a complementary coffee before the walk.”
She said there would be a water break at Sievers Point, with a few surprises along the way . . . “Enjoy the end of the walk with a complementary coffee and freshly baked croissant at Dutchies.”
Tickets are R350 per person at Webtickets https://www.webtickets.co.za/v2/Event.aspx?itemid=1556359727 and all proceeds go towards the maintenance of the Hermanus Cliff Path.
