The Hermanus Pro Musica Choir is hard at work rehearsing for a concert of Easter Choral works on Saturday 12 April and Sunday 13 April.
The programme will include all-time favourites like the “Easter Hymn” from Cavalleria Rusticana and the well-known Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. Several solo artists as well as musicians will join the choir in an afternoon of heavenly music celebrating Easter. Renowned choir master and organist Louna Stofberg is the director of the concerts joined by Bevan Sylvester who will liven up the proceedings with poignant pieces of scripture and verse.
Come join in the celebration on Saturday 12 April at 16:00 in the United Church in Hermanus and on Sunday 13 April at 16:00 in the Caledon West NG Church in Caledon. Tickets at R150 pp are available at the respective church offices.
