The fact that learners have to go to school without shoes and even on empty stomachs affected him deeply.

And this is why Benathi Cino decided to start a Care and Share Project to provide learners with essential school supplies, including school shoes and uniforms.

“Based in Caledon, this project aims to help students who are unable to afford these basic items, ensuring they can attend school with the confidence to succeed,” he explained. “We believe that education is a right, not a privilege.”

Starting this initiative is just the first step, and he explained that they are committed to ensuring that children in the community have the necessary tools to excel in their education.

“As a new project, Care and Share is seeking support from the local community and beyond to help it grow and expand its reach,” he said.

“The project welcomes donations of school uniforms, shoes, and financial contributions to help fund its mission.”

According to him the Care and Share project is at its beginning stages, and it needs the support of local businesses, organisations and individuals to ensure its success.
