Public encouraged to rediscover the value of the library

South African Library Week was celebrated from 14-20 March. The theme this year was “ReImagine! RePurpose! ReDiscover . . . Libraries”. Staff of Caledon Library encouraged readers to rediscover their library during library week. A colourful display was set up outside the library and readers were given a gift bag containing sweets, a library bag and a bookmark. Library Week was also a fine-free week, and readers were not charged for lost membership and ICT cards.Photo: Mitzi Buys
