Santa’s arrival at Nomzamo Crèche in Zwelihle was announced by flashing lights and the sound of fire engines roaring. The kids and staff were beyond excited to see Santa escorted by the courageous firefighters of Overstrand Fire Department. The kids sang and danced as they welcomed their guests to a special Christmas party hosted by the Hermanus Times team. The children’s faces lit up as they each received a beautifully wrapped gift from Santa. They patiently stood in long rows to have their faces painted and each child was also treated to a delicious boerewors roll, donuts and cupcakes. James Peiser of Chimney Clean and his assistant Humphrey Williams had everyone dancing and singing along to the funky tunes they played.
