Overstrand Arts / Kunste (OAK) will start its 2022 concert calendar with a performance by Gustavo Romero, an internationally renowned concert pianist. Prof Romero lectures at the College of Music at the University of North Texas and is currently in Cape Town. He hopes to present a complete cycle of the 32 Beethoven Piano Sonatas while there. In Hermanus his programme will include works of Haydn, Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Jean Cras, Respighi, Cyril Scott, Sibelius, Chaminade and Chopin.The concert will be held on Sunday 16 January at 15:30 in the Dutch Reformed Church (NG Kerk) in Hermanus.
