XTERRAThe 17th annual XTERRA South Africa Off-road Triathlon, from 17-18 February, is an epic off-road experience featuring stunning views of the Elgin Valley. Participate in the sprint or full distance triathlon (both distances qualify you for the XTERRA World Champs as well as the South African Cross Tri Champs) or the trail runs. Post-race, you can enjoy an ice-cold beer in the Devil’s Peak Beer Tent. This highly popular event is set to sell out fast so register early to secure your spot.

The Weekend Warrior, from 13-14 April, is a family-focused event in Grabouw that aims to promote the sport of cycling and the love for the outdoors.
The two-day stage race offers a unique opportunity for families to come together and experience the thrill of a stage race atmosphere.
The event aims to encourage the next generation to take up the sport and explore the trails. The race village, chill zone, food court and hot showers create a perfect environment for families to relax and bond after a day of cycling.
Ride the idyllic trails through Oak Valley vineyards, the apple orchards of Tru-Cape and along the Eikenhoff Dam. New additions to the already-famous trails will be unveiled, with challenging but enjoyable features for riders of all skill and ability levels.
This event sponsored by Tru-Cape is a fund-raising initiative for Grabouw High School.
