Join the team of the Overberg Wheelchair Association as they celebrate International Disability Awareness Day on 3 December with a 5 km Fun Roll or Stroll.
Registration for the 5 km Fun Roll or Stroll is R20 for adults, and kids pay R10. There is also a special event for businesses and organisations to enter as a group. Organisers invite business owners, Overstrand Municipality, the police and government departments to enter teams for the wheelchair relay event for able-bodied persons. Team members will have to get off their feet and into a wheelchair for the relay race that is sponsored by Shonaquip/Uhambo foundation.
Registration for the relay race costs R250 per team, with no limit to team members. The fun starts at 08:00 at Ability House, Church Street, Hawston. Contact Louine Boothway on 079 053 9034.
