Students who received distinctions during their 2022 studies were honoured at an annual merit awards ceremony at Boland College Caledon Campus, which was held in November.
Special awards were also given to the top student in each programme.
Boland College values the holistic development of students and recognition was also given to students who participated in the college teams at the COSACSA provincial ball games for Western Cape colleges.
Students, male and female, participated in sport codes such as rugby, soccer and netball and received silver and bronze medals as well as certificates at the merit awards function.
The rugby team received a bronze medal during the tournament. With them are their coaches Aiden Abrahams and Lynton Nell.
