The Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) “Think Bench” for Hermanus FynArts is now at the Hermanus Amphitheatre.
Inspired by its “Think” proposition, RMB commissioned this monumental, functional bench sculpture to explore the themes of dialogue, debate and shared thoughts.
The artist Louis Olivier and RMB invite people to pause and think about possibilities unlocked through diverse perspectives.
In collaboration with artists from the Workhorse Bronze Foundry he shaped this generously accessible artwork, paying homage to the thinkers of today. RMB Think Bench immortalises the importance of thinking as well as the freedom to do so.
