On Sunday 20 February, Overstrand Arts /Kunste (OAK) will present a performance by Cameron Williams on clarinet and Joshua Frank on guitar. The performance will start at 15:30 at St Peter’s Anglican church, Hermanus. Williams and Frank have played and travelled extensively with orchestras in South Africa. Williams is a clarinettist and saxophonist who has won many prizes in SA. He is a director of the Cape Chamber Music Collective, a group which aims to put on high-quality chamber music concerts all around the Cape and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Austria. Frank is a performing musician and musicologist from Cape Town who studied oboe, guitar and recorder, graduating with a BMus in Performance. Frank’s performance interests are centred on chamber music and he is a regular collaborator with the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra. The programme will include music by M de Falla, H Villa-Lobos, J Ilbert, H Veldsman and A Piazzolla.
