On Saturday 27 January Alan Winde, Premier of the Western Cape, visited Greyton and surrounds, not only as a community outreach, but also to remind and encourage people to register for the upcoming election.
In the Bereaville area, where a primary school athletics event was underway, he spoke with various spectators as well as members of the local Young Eagles Rugby Club.
In Greyton, the Premier visited the local Saturday market, where he took time to talk to many of the stallholders about the products they were selling.
If you have not yet registered as a voter you still have a chance to do so on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 February. After these dates voter registration will be closed.
